Purchasing, Shipping & Returns

It is important to me that you are happy with the painting or print you have purchased through Arleta Berta website. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me in advance at arabelaberta@gmail.com.  I always welcome direct contact with interested buyers and it may be quicker to resolve any queries in advance than after delivery.

Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The image you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and slight inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.

Please note that the ‘in situ’ images may not accurately reflect the frame style as we use an app to place the work in a room setting, for illustration only.  I will be happy to send you photographs of the framed painting so you can make an informed decision.


How is my payment handled?
Payments are taken through PayPal or Stripe in Pounds Sterling. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. We do not store any of your debit/credit card details.

Can I pay by bank transfer?
Please contact me by email to pay by bank transfer which many UK customers prefer. Please pay immediately – I reserve the right to place the item back on sale if payment is not received within 24 hours.

Can I reserve a painting?
You may want to check with a friend or family member before making a purchase. While I cannot take the item off sale, I can place a ‘reserved’ note on it for 48 hours. Please email me on arabelaberta@gmail.com.


I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my artwork?
Most orders will be packed and shipped within 5 working days. Within the UK paintings and prints are sent by Royal Mail tracked service, Parcel Force 24 or 48 hour tracked service or occasionally by another courier depending on size and weight.  Most UK deliveries arrive within 2 days from time of shipping. Please allow 7 working days in total. If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. Next day delivery may be possible in certain circumstances but cannot be guaranteed and may incur an additional charge.  

Can I collect my artwork?
Yes, please select free local collection at the checkout. Once you have placed your order I will email you and we can work out a time to meet. My studio is in Vicarage Way 13 Colnbrook Sl3 0RA Slough.

Is Shipping included?
UK shipping costs are included at checkout. Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees. Please email me about international delivery on arabelaberta@gmail.com

Can you ship internationally?
Yes, I can ship to most countries, although it will take longer to arrive depending on your location. Please contact me with your address details and the piece you would like and I can give you shipping options.

Overseas shipments (outside the UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. We have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges. My understanding is that EU customers may incur such an additional charge on items sent from the UK.


What if my painting arrives and I don’t like it?

If you buy an artwork online at www.arletabertaartistry.com and are not completely satisfied with it on its arrival, we offer a Buy-Back guarantee. You must notify me within 14 days of the purchase date by emailing me on arabelaberta@gmail.com

The Buy-Back is offered as long as:
– The art work is returned in suitable and secure packaging
– The art work is returned through a signed for courier, or tracking service
– The art work is in its original condition and not damaged
– The art work is returned within 7 days of your email to me requesting a return.

As the buyer, you are liable for the cost of return shipping and are responsible for any loss or damage in transit.  We advise you to keep all original packaging.  

Once the painting has been received in a saleable condition, we will Buy-Back in full within 14 days.

What if my painting arrives damaged?
All work is carefully packed and wrapped. In the unfortunate instance that you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please take as many photographs showing the multiple layers of packing and the damage as possible, as these are required in evidence when placing an insurance claim on the delivery firm. Please contact me as soon as possible and within 7 days.

What about Overseas Returns?
At this time I am unable to offer a refund or return on any product(s) sent outside of the UK.
